Maybe this thread should be retitled "Budgetary and Box Office COncerns for the Modern Super-Hero Fantasy Film" I came here to talk about a Super Hero film I actually enjoyed not to throw around box office numbers and predict doom and gloom for all other upcoming films.

Now it's not perfect but it definatly didn't suck. Paralax as a cloud, at least it had a face and tentacles which way better than Galactus cloud. Now I'm not a GL expert but what I do know, I think they nailed Sinestro and Kilowog. It would have been nice to see them more in action, but hey, that's what sequels are for. Bigger, better, boggleing action. At least we didn't get the Jack Black comedy version. Ryan Reynolds did a great job. If you are thinking "Van Wilder in space" you are thinking wrong. Sure there is some comedy, but nothing r-rated or gross-out. LIke someone else said, most of the comedy was in that first trailer which was all of 2 minutes long, leaving at least another 90 odd minutes.

Now if you saw it and didn't like it fine. But all these BO numbers are making my head hurt.
