And note, I didn't go to GL planning on comparing it to Avatar.  I'm just making these comparisons from memory after reading KOSH's comments above.  Avatar left a bigger and longer impression on me.  I gave it a 5/5 stars after I saw it the first time.  GL only received 3.5/5.

Maybe I'll get my wish when a Doctor Strange or Adam Warlock movie hits the silver screen someday!

No, I'm right and you're wrong!
I also definitely enjoyed AVATAR more, even if it has its own story and pacing issues (but then, what James Cameron film doesn't?).

MRCOMICBOOK, I'd guess that a Marvel "b-list" film is still likely, since Marvel's mastered the art of making good films on a relatively lower budget. If they can't make an Edgar Wright Ant-Man film, I might just give up on Hollywood. I'm still sad that the genius of SCOTT PILGRIM was appreciated by so few...

As far as DC properties, I'm sure that Warners will find a way to do more superhero movies one way or another, even if GL ends up not meeting its expectations. I'd say they're the smartest of the big Hollywood studios. (You don't see them making those weak Marvel movies from Fox, like ELEKTRA or FANTASTIC FOUR...)

Plus, they get a lot of forgiveness from me, since I can skip all of the pre-menu crap on their DVDs! They put the customer first! Happy
