This....was NOT a good movie.

Blake Lively is gorgeous as heck...and that's about the only positive thing I can say about the film. Reynolds looks ridiculous and the CGI mask DOES NOT WORK AT ALL. The scene where he visits Carol Ferris in costume for the first time starts out so PAINFULLY campy I was actually squirming in my seat. Fortunately, Carol sees through the stupid "disguise" pretty quickly and the scene somewhat recovers. NOTE TO WB: If there is  a sequel (which I highly doubt this expensive is going to preform well enough to merit) DITCH THE MASK entirely. It doesn't work in live action any more than the wings on Cap's cowl would, which the CAP movie makers WISELY ditched.

Hector Hammond is a boring villain in the comic and he's three times as boring here. But just when we think things couldn't get any MORE dull, we're treated to awesome scenes of GL fighting....a pissed off cloud. Wow, that brings back pleasant memories of that classic FANTASTIC FOUR movie!

The audience should have learned of Oa, the Guardians, The Corps, etc. as Hal Jordan does...and experience it all for the first time through his eyes. Instead we're giving a pretenious exposition dump right after the WB logo that's the worst bit of force fed background info since DUNE.
