Yuh, I thought the series was maybe going somewhere when it started (despite the Earthman stuff from Mr. Johns), but I'm close to dropping it now for all the reasons that Eyes4u sez above. I usually start to fade when a writer decides to tackle racism as a realistic subject by having guys grab gunz'n ammo and head out to kill women and children, like with the refugees-from-Titan bit. I also feel that the whole Titan plotline was ridiculous...how fragile IS the future? But now it's just constant cutaways to short and senseless fights. Bits that, if they weren't going to mean anything, Paul would have simply skimmed over briefly in the old days to leave more room for meaningful scenes. Yes, the whole storyline feels like nothing but padding right now.

I think Shooter's run had better characterization, but he spent too many issues at the beginning with boring monster-alien badguyz with zero personality. I liked Waid's run too at first, ditto on the characters...until Supergirl was pushed on the series and took it over.

Re-starting the Legion is a tuff trick already, without editorial coming up with ways to shoot it in the foot all the time.
