I'm enjoying the Legion right now. It's one of the few books I buy from DC at all.

I also like Levitz's writing on the series. It's a big draw for me. I doubt DC threw this book to him as a sacrifice. The reality is that DC is a company that likes to make money. They hired Levitz to write the book, because (my guess) he's been the most successful Legion writer of the last 30 years, and they thought they would sell more comics and make more money. It's likely the same reason they hired Jim Shooter to write Legion a few years ago.
