Heck, no one even told me, OwlzinDaBarn! I didn't have any idea that Magnus defeated all the robots. What was left for him to do, then? That was the reason for the entire series. It's like having a sequel to the Terminator movies after the robots for the future have been defeated.

In issues 37-38 of the Valiant series, they had pretty much finished up the the original Magnus vs. earth's robots storyline that had begun in the Gold Key series, and resolved the situation. Then in #39 there was something like a 15 or 20 year time jump and Magnus' son took over the book, and there were new villains and situations (he still fought evil robots though).
