maybe instead of regurgirating the same old tired group who keep getting canceled, maybe they should come up with some new characters.

I don't see any problem with trying out new series with old characters.  After all, you'll get gems like Morrison's Animal Man, Morrison's Doom Patrol, Gaiman's Sandman, Wagner's Zorro, (and a hundred other titles that are slipping my mind right now).
Hell, Alan Moore has made an entire career out of regurgitating the same old tired characters (Watchmen, Miracle Man, League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, Tom Strong, Lost Girls, etc).

Trying out new titles with pre-existing characters is a helluva lot better than yet another Spider-Man, or Wolverine, or Batman title.

(Spencer's Thunder Agents is a great read.)

A great read but cancelled again. See? None of the characters we spoke about can even make 12 issues.Thunder Agents are just like the Archie Heroes. They fail each decade. The majority of fans want
Spider-Man, or Wolverine, or Batman  titles and could care less about these grade c list heroes. I can guarantee they will be brought back again in another decade and will be cancelled again after another 6 issues.
