My Recent Posts
I find Hickman's tone and style completely wrong for FF, but i've only read the first story. It's just not fun and generally humorless, with that same sense of foreboding and cryptic pseduo-profundity that characterizes his other work (I like SHIELD and Secret Warriors, but he overdoes the "vague statements that are meant to be profound but really aren't" schtick and his overall sense of plotting and characterization is fairly weak, imo), but it just doesn't work for me with these characters and this setting.
