Did I post anything here besides the deal itself this go around?

So no one else here sells anything on Ebay at a markup to other fans?

But if Marvel or DC comes out with something that the fans really want but the price is higher than nornal that's ok because that's business.

We can go back and forth but I rather not and talk about comics.

We've been through your justifications before, Euripides, and they're no better now than they were then.

You misuse coupons in ways they weren't intended to be used, thus basically stealing product and income from booksellers. You then inflate the price and sell the books to people who *actually* want to own them, but weren't lucky enough to know about the sale -- or simply weren't fast enough to snag an Omnibus because you bought them all. One could make a very compelling argument that every Omnibus YOU buy with your ill-gotten coupon codes is an Omnibus that a LEGITIMATE fan was PREVENTED from buying.

You do this repeatedly, ruthlessly and remorselessly, and don't seem to care one bit that you're ripping off BOTH the booksellers AND the fans. Then you run around posting pictures of your behavior as if you expect a pat on the back for your ingenuity.

That's a far cry from one of us saying "gosh, I enjoyed this TPB but I don't think I'll ever read it again; I'll put it on eBay for someone else to enjoy." Stop trying to compare the two -- it's night and day.

And trying to compare your thievery to Marvel, who PRODUCES THE PRODUCT and has the right to set the price at whatever they think the market will bear, is just eye-rollingly awful. Your justifications are painful and paper-thin.

Let's dig a little deeper. Looking at your account on the cbr forums (screenname "Omnibus"), I see your thievery extends far beyond simple book-flipping.

First off, your avatar over there is a photoshopped image created by Urban on *these* boards, back in December. You liked it, so you stole it and decided to use it as your own, and I'm sure you didn't ask first.

On April 16, you openly admit to downloading .cbr scans of comic books from a newsgroup. That's theft as well. Not even "rule-bending" theft -- that's out-and-out piracy.

Two days ago, you read a post from forgerelli on these boards, about a huge TPB lot on eBay. Within twenty minutes you had reposted it over at cbr. Not exactly a huge sin, to be sure -- but it certainly fits the picture we're building of you here.

Do you have any other hobbies, or is stealing other people's stuff and using it for your own benefit ALL you do?

Jeph,

Come on, some sell things that are still sealed....but I would say yes more here do as you stated.

Thank you as I now know who created the two FF's scan....I had saved them when he first posted it as it was an awesome job but could not find it when I wanted to use his name when I switched two weeks ago so I used fan made. Will fix that. Look and you will see that I do quote and credit the person at Marvel Masterworks from time to time.

As for the CBR files I had grabbed some Dark Tower to see what it was like and then a few other random sample issues. Granted I should have looked to see if Marvel had a demo issue. I like the OHC / Omnibus format (you think?).

While not biggie as you said but you are right I should have given Forgerelli credit for finding that auction. I added the credit in.
