Stephanie Buscema has known about the book since last May, when the author was finishing it. The Publisher contacted her, offered to send her copies. She gave them her address. She was surprised at the time about the book, because JB"s rep did not mention it, even though the author had spoken to him previously as well. For Stephanie to come out now, nearly a year later acting like the wounded party is puzzling to say the least. Sal certainly knew about the book, he did in fact know what the interview was for. No attempt was made to hide the existence of the book by the author or the publisher. Those are the facts.

The Author, Brian, is a devoted comic art fan, of Buscema in particular. This book was about his professional comic career, and includes an exhaustive bibliography of JB's work. The only copyright holders that had to have permission or be paid for usage was Marvel- and they were paid for the use of the cover image. Those are the facts. The whole project was done on a shoe string budget, no one's getting rich off this book, if it's even broken even.
