I own the HC (for that matter, I own maybe all the Oz hardcovers available with the exception of certain vanity press books.)

It's pretty cool for what it is. I don't worry too much about purism when I read, though writing it is a bit different.

Oh, and even comparing Superboy to Batgirl, I still think Batgirl's that much more fun. Simply because the character doesn't take superheroing -too- seriously. For her, it's fun. For Superboy, it's a living, it feels like.

Besides, anyone who can manage to make Damian sympathetic without being grim and gritty is -awesome-. Bryan Q. Miller ought to be given more titles, if only to see if he can bring that sense of fun back.
