Ray, you should enjoy DR FF - I think it's Jonathan Hickman's best FF work so far, but then I like my comics a little more contained.

I'd highly recommend picking up Kieron Gillen's Thor run, which was a seamless transition from JMS, and actually a bit more action packed. One of the best Thor runs of all.

I would recommend DnA's cosmic comics to anyone, particularly Guardians of the Galaxy. I'm not a cosmic fan, traditionally, but they won me over with well written, entertaining comics. I'd check out the forthcoming Annihilators (incorporating Rocket Raccoon and Groot) to see what you think. Also pick up DnA's Heroes For Hire #1, in which I hope they will capture a similar extended team dynamic on the streets of NY. I'm optimistic this will become my favourite Marvel book of the moment, or at least one of them.

For old school heroics, Avengers Academy is pretty enjoyable and easy to read. Who doesn't love a Hank Pym comic?

X-Factor is well written, with a team dynamic that is so much more than the sum of its parts. But I'm not sure when the next good jumping on point is. This title scores bonus points for not requiring you to read any other X-books at all.
