Some things that could be added:
X-Men 205 (great BWS art)
X-Men 251-252
X-Men 268 (with Cap/Black Widow)
Wolverine:  Killing (great Kent Williams art)
Wolverine:  Inner Fury (Sienkiewicz)
Hama/Silvestri's run from the first ongoing
BKV/Risso's Logan mini (and maybe some of the other recent 1-shots like Saudade)
I agree Jungle Adventure would be a good choice.

Or Marvel could go for the modern popular sellers and include Origins (the first mini) and Enemy of the State (even though they have their own HCs).

X-Men #205 should've been included in the first Omni, but I'd still like to see it somewhere. They kinda missed the boat on Web of Spider-Man #29, shoulda been included right after the Spider-Man/Wolverine one-shot. But like his Marvel Team-Up issue with Spidey, it's part of a bigger story that has nothing to do with Wolverine.

The other X-Men issues, 251-252, 268, I would rather see included in a RETRIBITON AND REBIRTH collection but they are great enough to be included here.

I'd be disappointed if anything more recent was included, like *shudder* ORIGIN. I guess if it's more a tie-in selling point I understand. I just feel like those early Wolverine solo issues are more deserving. Alot of fine artists contributed to them, John Buscema, Gene Colon, Klaus Janson, Bill Sienkiewicz, John Byrne, Marc Silvestri. It seems like there was a conscious effort to make it a quality series
