The late 80's Wolverine series are some of my favorite comics. I'd like to see the rest of John Buscema's run collected along with the graphic novel and last MCP story he did. Maybe include Wolverine #31-34 which would finish up these early Madripoor stories and is the begining of Marc Silvestri's run. After this Wolverine's solo book get's more X-Men related and is, IMO, worse off for it. The stories listed below all have Terry and the Priates adventure/espionage feel to them that I think would make for a great collection, as well as having some of the best Wolverine comic art. I always liked the backup story in X-Men Annual #15 and I think it would be a neat inclusion
It was around this time that Wolverine started guest appearing in just about every Marvel book. Even in Marvel Comics Presents he was usually teamed up with someone else, Spider-Man, Venom, Ghost Rider. Not sure if there's anything else that would be significant?
What I would LOVE to see included:
Wolverine (1988) #11-34 The last of the John Buscema Madripoor run.
Marvel Comics Presents - #39-46 Madripoor, John Buscema.
Wolverine Bloody Chioces GN (1991) Hawaii, John Buscema
Jungle Adventure (1990) Savage Land, Mike Mignola
Havok and Wolverine Meltdown (1988) #1-4
Wolverine - Nick Fury: The Scorpio Connection (1989)
X-Men Annual #15 (1991 - Backup story) "The Enemy Within" In a dream, Wolverine is a stalked by his metal skeleton.
