The flurry of sales definitely screeched to a halt on this.

There were 69 left early yesterday morning, and I checked late last night and it was still 69. So I think the pent up demand was mostly exhausted when it finally came back on line Monday/Tuesday.

Given the high sticker price, but overall highly positive word of mouth from people who have actually seen it- as well as the uniqueness of the project (has any story ever been reprinted as full original boards?), and the special quality of the original art- I think this will end up being a huge sleeper.

It may take a while to exhaust all the copies available at retail, but it should be the kind of book that will always have that special aura about it- until the majors start doing the same thing with other classic material. And if it does take a while to sell out, that means IDW will be less inclined to rush back and re-print the thing.
