If your not a big Hulk fan, why would you buy it? There are plenty of Omniboo out there and plenty more on the way. They take a while to read each one. Don't get overwhelmed like some of us...including me. I would only buy the ones that pique your interest.

Yeah, I now have 27 Omnibuses since March (Eternals arrived this morning) plus 25 OHC and a few TPB collections since March as well. Now I need to think long and hard on what I want to read next.

I would love to get my hands on that other Bendis Daredevil Vol 1 from your LCS as I need that one for my collection    Since you have one you can buy it, flip it on Ebay for twice the value or more and then get more omnibses for yourself

I will admit that the Hulk isn't my favourite character (lack of personality!) but I would eventually like to have a collection of all of the main Marvel titles from 1961 through to about 1975. I have picked up about 40 Masterworks so far but I have a looong way to go (I'm also trying to do the same with DC). I have now realised that the Omnibus editions are a short cut to the first 3 or 4 volumes and they have started to interest me more. I still prefer reading a masterwork due to the size/weight issue but I've got used to them now.

As for reading them...well I have bought close to 200 hardbacks in the last 3 years and have so far read about a quarter of them. Virtually everything I buy is an investment in future reading pleasure (assuming I live long enough !). What is driving me is the thought that when I do want to read them they won't be readily/cheaply available in hardback format. So the Hulk Omnibus whilst not top of my list is still interesting enough at £30. I am aware that the Bendis/Brubakerstuff disappears though and I'm very heavily tempted to buy them even though I can't really afford them. The Brubaker DD Volume 1 is £55 (about $80) though. Is that too expensive? How easy is it to find?

If I can afford it I might just buy the 2nd Bendis Vol 1 and pass it on to someone here for a modest profit if that interests anyone? The postage from UK to the States though might be a bit prohibitive?
