Yes, I agree with both you gents, Morrow's artwork is indeed a treat and Mike Nasser also did some interesting work. He wasn't in his Neal Adams clone mode at the time - not that I dislike that either - and his lay-outs were very inventive.
Ditko's Creeper material wasn't up to his vintage material but it is still interesting.

Even though Buckler was highly derivative, he could always be trusted to do a decent and sometimes outstanding job on traditional superhero stories and as far as traditional superheroes go, I like the vibe on the Hawkman series which has a nice Murphy Anderson feel too it.
Throw in a Don Newton Shazam classic every issues, as well as the odd Aquaman solo tale by the maestro and what's not to love?

I was a Marvel zombie at the time so I wouldn't have touched this stuff with a barge pole but I can imagine these mags must've provided a wonderful afternoon's entertainment for a kid back then.
