Marvel Team-Up definitely had highs and lows. It started off well for about two years (I still shudder at that drawing of Hercules pulling Manhattan by a chain). The book was pretty solid from issue 39 through to the conclusion of the Claremont/Byrne run. It is a title that should be considered for masterworking on a regular (two year cycle?) basis. Many other '70's titles fall into the same category as far as having periods of good and not so good storytelling.
That shouldn't affect whether or not they see reprinting in one deluxe form or another.
