Even though I like at least the first four or five seasons of Mission Impossible, it has always struck me as extremely improbable that nearly everyone is fooled by a member of the IMF (usually Rollin Hand or Paris) posing as someone else in those latex masks.

Even if the facials details were foolproof, things like the shape of the ears are absolutely unique in humans - unless they are made up out of latex molds as well - and the shape and color of the eyes would have to pass scrutiny as well.

The voice would have to pass muster as well, with the appropriate inflections and intonations, to fool anyone at all familiar with the person being impersonated. Not to mention, the IMF agent must have all the mannerisms and quirks down pat.

I guess it's just a case of suspending disbelief when watching shows like this.
