I'm excited but I do have an issue. How are you guys sending your books to LBC? Are you sending it USPS, UPS, FedEx, etc? I've been sending my books by USPS, but I swear my post office is screwing me. Before, I'd send them priority mail, but it costs an arm and a leg. I tried to send my books by media mail, but I was informed Comics cannot be sent media mail because they have ads. I sent it "Parcel Post" and it costs just as much as priority mail, but it takes a week to get to LBC! Am I doing something wrong here?
You're right in that technically comics can't be sent media mail and that some post offices have been opening up packages to check.  Some branches don't and you can try to get away with it.  Or you can weigh and print your labels online with the hopes that this decreases the chances of them opening up boxes.

Otherwise, you could set up a UPS account (versus going to a retail UPS store and paying their prices).  Supposedly, it's cheaper and your packages are insured.

Priority mail actually isn't that bad since you can usually cram a few projects into a box.
