Considering that they're supposedly taking orders for on-site pick-up at San Diego a couple months from now, you would think they would publicize it to generate more sales.


Maybe, maybe not -- promote a limited run product like this too much, generate too much interest, and a publisher might end up not being able to meet the demand. (Next thing you know, people are blindly second-guessing these decisions on Message Boards!)

I suppose it could be there was actually greater interest than had been expected, and IDW felt this would be the best way to meet that demand.
