I picked up a handful of Human Target issues from the quarter bin yesterday, and I'm thinking of binding the Milligan stuff.  Would the 4-issue mini, Final Cut GN, and the series #1-21 be too thick for a single volume? (Do I even have them in the correct order?)
I don't think so.  That's how I bound my volume (removed the cardstock cover to Final Cut) and it's not that thick.
Don't think it'd be too thick, either, but that assumes you remove ads and irrelevant pages, doesn't it?

I also did mine as a single volume.  It ended up as one of my thicker books (alongside The Shadow), but it's not overly thick.  See below for a shot of it.  Of course, it's next to a bunch of thinner binds (6-12 issue books), so it looks large by comparison.  Oh, btw, I pulled it off the shelf the other night, as it's next on my reading list.  And yes, that's the order. 1-4, FC GN, 1-21.
