I've read about 5-6 stories so far, and I'm amazed at how good they are. I confess Boy Commandos sort of bugs me for the same reason Batman taking a young teen into battle against the Joker and others does: namely, who would put children in danger like that? Newsboy Legion, so far, the boys tend to stumble into the danger that is natural in living in a bad place like Suicide Slum. And, the Guardian hasn't endangered them, but he does help rescue. So far, Jim Harper's costume is the biggest stretch of my imagination, but it's OK to suspend a little disbelief.

Really nice work by Simon and Kirby. I'm surprised Boy Commandos was more popular. Maybe starting in a comic with Batman got them wider exposure.

And, everytime I see Big Words, it's like looking at Bruce Banner, Jr.
