The other fanzine/magazine that I've been tracking down is Comics Journal. Some of the early period issues of this have a Marvel focus (which is also my collecting focus) -- albeit CI takes a more literary approach to things.  I've got an issue where they print some pretty harsh critiques of Miller's original Daredevil issues. That's fun to read!   These aren't great for binding since they're of a larger size.

I notice that the paper on all of these is 'newsprint' -- seems to me to be of lesser quality than the comics of the time.  Any ideas how binding articles from these in will impact the long term integrity of the book? I guess what I'm asking is, "will the paper from these hold up?"

Also, I notice the gutters on the AH are wider than those from CI. Anybody had any problems with gutter loss on articles from either causing the articles' left hand column to be unreadable?
