I was comparing the Tiger Tea paper effect to the Sunday Press books because I remember hearing an interview with the publisher of Sunday Press and he said he was going for a freshly printed newspaper effect.

I'm less enamored of an intentional brownish aged newprint look in reprints. (Maybe seen at its worst in the Spiegleman/Chipp Kidd Plastic Man book. Those pages were way too dark.)

Recently I acquired some early 70s Marvel and DC back issues and they were quite age-toned. I found myself wishing I had all those stories as modern reprints (like Masterworks or Archives) because the browning pages were hard to read. (The covers were pristine, though.)

Thanks for the tip about the book's contents. I'll wait until Fantagraphics reprints them.
