I am shocked, SHOCKED!! that the law is different for the rich and powerful corporations than the rest of us.

We are still (albeit, barely hanging on as) a nation of laws and not of men, although "social justice" gibberish endangers that status seemingly with each passing day.  It is this very principle which protects an artisan like Jack Kirby, by telling him just what exactly the rules (in his case, terms and conditions of employment) are, and guaranteeing them.  He performed "work for hire," and was compensated for it, at a rate he was promised, and to which he agreed.  PERIOD.  MegaDisney is an unlikable corporate gorilla, but what is theirs is theirs.  We are in trouble as a society if/when we come to a point that some of us feel we are untitled to what others have, because we don't like them, and we feel they don't deserve to have more than we do.

BTW - Red, I paraphrase that quote a lot.  It is my favorite (and arguably, the best) line from my all time favorite picture!
