The Rhino sets are starting to get harder to find, and some are officially out of print, though they still turn up in dealer stock if you're lucky. For complete info see Satellite News, at mst3kinfo.com--still updated daily more than a decade after the show left the air, and beyond a doubt *the* source for MST information.

Going by Amazon, there are four Rhino boxes OOP right now., The rest are easy to get for, say, 35 bucks or under.

Last night, I picked up The Essentials, a some single discs, and OOP Sets 4 and 7 at a decent price.

Volume 10, or 10.2?

Also, I know that there are rights issues keeping some of the episodes from making it to DVD.

Seemingly, MST3K Made some of the movies popular, which means the rights holders won't play ball.

...isn't that kind of dumb? I mean, without the MST3K-izing of the movies, no one would give a damn about most of 'em.
