Ah, the late 1970s DC comics - not exactly the crowning glory in their history.

It seems like just about every second story - at least - was written by Bob Rozakis (a third- or fourth-rate writer) or Gerry Conway (at best a second-rate one), or pencilled by (take your pick) Alex Saviuk, John Calnan, or Don Heck, and inked by Vince Colletta (a bottom of the barrel inker) or Joe Giella.

Ugh!

The likes of Neal Adams, Carmine Infantino, Gil Kane, Marshall Rogers, Murphy Anderson, Wally Wood and Dave Cockrum must have seemed a dim memory to loyal DC readers at the time.

And people wonder what caused of the DC Implosion ...
