It really isn't a very good question. The Weisinger DC's all had Marvel style angst before Marvel existed. Weisinger bascially invented "continuity". They also had Weisinger goofiness instead of Kirby goofiness. The Schwartz and Schiff titles were all plot with virtually interchangeable heroes. DC fans looked down on Marvel comics as plotless fight scenes.

The difference between the Marvel heroes from the 60's and the DC heroes from the 60's is not just the angst. For example, The Thing, the Hulk and Spider-man have different speech patterns from each other (although early on, the Thing and the Hulk had somewhat similar speech patterns at times). There are Marvel characters that can be virtually defined by their catch phrases: "It's Clobberin' time", "Hulk Smash!", "Flame On!". I can still remember in the JLA-Avengers team-up when the Avengers say "Avengers Assemble!" and the JLA realize they don't have a catch phrase.

Marvel also had anti-heroes such as the Hulk and Sub-Mariner for which there are no real DC equivalents.

Sure, Marvel had it's 2D characters too, such as the Ant-Man or virtually any of the early female characters, but they tended to be the characters that were either put on the shelf or re-developed to make more interesting.
