It really isn't a very good question. The Weisinger DC's all had Marvel style angst before Marvel existed. Weisinger bascially invented "continuity". They also had Weisinger goofiness instead of Kirby goofiness. The Schwartz and Schiff titles were all plot with virtually interchangeable heroes. DC fans looked down on Marvel comics as plotless fight scenes.

Doom Patrol was the first DC comic that was done overtly as an attempt to do a Marvel style comic. As was Metamorpho and Teen Titans (except Titans had Haney style "hip" dialogue instead of Stan Lee style "hip" dialogue.

The main thing DC NEVER got the hang of up till Kirby walked (back) in the door, was the Marvel fight scene.

By the late seventies DC and Marvel comics were interchangeable (interchangeably bad)- Then Marvel made another quantum leap into the future courtesy of Claremont, Byrne and Miller, and DC was never able to catch up.
