Several of the Adventure Comics issues featuring the JSA (#461-466) were among the most difficult comics to eventually track down in my entire Silver/Bronze Age collection (I am still looking for a copy of Batman #232 at a reasonable price, not the absolutely ridiculous prices many dealers are asking for it).

In fact the last Adventure Comics - #462 (the death of Batman) - I only managed to get 15 months ago, after about six years of searching, and even then, I only got to it a matter of minutes before someone else who I know would have bought it. Ironically, it only cost me $10, for a copy in Fine/VF condition.

I was anxious to collect them equally as much for the other stories, as for the JSA stories, but I think the chances of the non-JSA stories being reprinted in the forseeable future are very slim.

You wouldn't think late 1970s comics would be so hard to find, but these are, from all reports I have heard from people in the back-issue business.
