Much happier with Volume Two than I was with Volume One, the cover is still sorta creepy looking (Bolland's recent work has an odd look to me for some reason), the art is really crisp, the colors are deep and gorgeous, the writing has held up really well and Joe Staton...is just Joe Staton, he's totally under-rated in my opinion. The coolest thing about it all is how The JSA stories in the late 70's were so good at keeping so many personalities going and at keeping alot of stories moving within the larger story. Today's comic writers (BENDIS...who I really like) could learn SO MUCH from reading these...on top of that these books were only coming out every other month!

For some reason I thought that the feature lasted more than six issues in Adventure Comics, It looks like DC just chopped up the material scheduled for three issues of All-Star Comics and used it inventory style there. Damn you DC Implosion, All-Star Comics under Levitz and Staton was an amazing title that still had tons of life left in it. I always thought as a kid that the JSA characters were SO MUCH more interesting than thier Earth One buddies.

Worth every penny...and it's actually really bargain priced for what you get!

My only complaint is the lack of cover reproductions from Adventure Comics but I can always go to the Comics Database online and print them out and insert them I guess! :)

Great book!
