Those DC 100 page issues (for a whopping 50-60 cents) exposed me to a TON of cool older/golden age stories I might never have discovered until much later. I was just 10 in 1974 and I can remember my first ever comic was Detective Comics 442 with a great Alex Toth and Archie Goodwin lead story, but one of the cooler stories was a golden age Dr. Fate story. I thought Dr. Fate was the coolest.

I have a ton of the digest comics from DC in the late 70's early 80's. The only drawback was the size - the illustrations and words were tiny, which wasn't a problem when I was 15, but now that I'm 42, it's a bit of eye strain.

If you like treasure size comics, here's a rather fun look at them: www.treasurycomics.com/
