I suspect that the only way it will happen is if Mike Richardson loses ownership/control of the company.  He's made some great strides, particularly with licensed material being viable and often better than the source material from which it is drawn, but he and his folks are unrepentent buffoons when it comes to packaging that material in a way that appeals to the core consumer fanbase they depend on.  They seem to want to be different simply for the sake of being different in cases where an accepted industry standard already exists.  They appear to be unaquainted with the mantra "if it ain't broke, don't fix it."
