Okay, I have it and here's my thoughts:

1) Finally, covers! And yes, like Stu said, scans not as sharp as could be and taken from the original comics.  Why DH couldn't have included them from the start of the COC series is a mystery to me.

2) The coloring is EXACTLY the same as the trades (I checked)...the stories from COC Vol. 2 have been "lightened" up slightly to make the bad re-coloring more palatable and less saturated from the original trade presentation.

3) Roy's introduction is EXACTLY the same as his Afterword in COC Vol. 1...which makes for strange reading since this HC reprints Conan #1-11, but Roy's intro only covers issues #1-7 (the COC V.1 interiors)...so when the second volume of the hardcover comes out, will we get Roy's COC Vol. 2 afterword, which won't cover all the stories there either? Hoo-boy!

4) Absolutely NO extras...no BWS pencils or deleted scenes (even though we know they exist and has been printed elsewhere)...nothing (except covers) new to entice people who already sunk bucks into the trade series!

5) On the plus side, I DID like the jacketless cover...DH is doing the same here as Fantagraphics will be with their CAPTAIN EASY volumes...color spot sticker illustrations.

6) Summary?  Don't buy this unless you just HAVE to have Marvel's Conan in HC...if you've already bought the Chronicles series just HC them yourself and toss in the missing scanned covers--your scans would probably be better than DH's!
