well, there's this link to tip in your own title page after it's bound.

I am also using a local binder, and they have also provided some funky results -- stuff they resolved after the fact, but it still left my run of FF a little "off".

Page layout software like Quark Express or In Design uses a "paginate" formula for creating a consistent gutter on double sided pages for any scanning you might want to incorporate into your binding project.

But if you are truly concerned that your local binder won't do your project justice, then step up to the next level and get in touch with Capitol or LBC. They do this sort of thing all the time, and will double check all the work so it looks awesome. They cost a bit more, but what are you shooting for here? You're investing a lot of time into this one particualr project, and you'd be pretty upset if it didn't turn out right the first time.

Good luck - post some pictures when you get these back. I had my run of Crisis bound, but only just the 12 issues themselves, and the History as well.

Thank you for the link to the title page. I saw this while combing through the boards a few nights ago. I definitely want to use my local bindery. I have a a Green Lantern: Mosaic Bind that I will probably send to either Capitol or LBC at some point, but I really like the work my local guys are doing. I have had five volumes of Who's Who's done, all look wonderful. One volume had a number of loose pages as well, and they bound perfectly. More updates as things move along. I will most definitely post some pictures.
