That's odd - I'd remembered Milgrom pencilling the issue, rather than writing with Perlin pencilling. I guess I've been blinded with rage all these years.

I still think the cover should accurately reflect the contents - not since all those Don Heck issues of Iron Man with Kirby covers have I felt so cheated. The cynical thing is that editors clearly know what will and won't sell an issue. "Ah the kids won't buy this crap - let's hide it on the inside and stick a cool cover on it. They won't notice til they get home!" An act of bad faith, if you ask me.
