I read an interview with Golden in which he said that the whole time he was doing the Micronauts, he was constantly being told to draw more like Jack Kirby.

He obviously didn't pay them any attention thank goodness!

Tobehulkinued, Mike Golden was one of the premiere talents of the late 70s, early 80s but he only produced a very small body of work, most notably the Micronauts, who were microscopically small so I guess that makes his small body of work even tinier.

If you're interested in sampling his work, see if you can pick up the 5-issue Micronauts Special Edition, which reprints his 12-issue Micronauts run on shiny paper. The colouring was a bit overwhelming but it's probably the cheapest way to get his Micronauts work.
Avengers Annual #10 is another classic Golden story. I think it's quite expensive. You could opt for the Chris Claremont Visionaries hardcover, which contains it (among other tales), which should be on sale somewhere.
And I think Marvel just produced a new printing of the NAM tradepaperback.
