The finale feels rushed here too; Namor just abandons Dorma in the plane? Do we have any indication she has the first idea how to fly, or more importantly, land, a plane? Well, Namor can't be bothered with that.
Actually, that's pretty consistent with how Namor treats Dorma in the Silver Age. I think half of the Sub-mariner stories in the 60's are a variation of the following plot:

1. Namor impulsively chooses to: invade the US, file a lawsuit against humanity: attack a ship, submarine, etc. he thinks has invaded his domain.
2. Dorma wisely advise Namor to be careful and think about what he is planning to do.
3. Namor ignore Dorma's advice and continues with his ill-considered invasion, attack, lawsuit, etc. which gets him into trouble.
