As it stands now. The only version worth having are the originals.
Dark Horse staff, reproductionists, whatever, have their proverbial heads up their keysters.
They spend money on weaker properties but don't handle the Howard material with any respect.
I've gotten some lame executes about the general public not willing to spend money on them...What the Hell?!
So the "Public" is willing to fork it over for abscure titles or titles only we "Fanboys" know anything about and or will invest in...But, Not Conan and Kull...?!?!!!
Wha Da.....?!
God, how I wish Marvel still handled the Howard properties.
I can't fathom Dark Horse when it comes Conan.

I would bet the great majority of people (outside of third world countries, anyway) have at least heard of Conan, even if they know absolutely nothing about him, apart from the fact he is a "barbarian". On the other hand, outside of comic aficionadoes, I believe that if you said one person in a hundred had even heard of, let alone knew anything about some of the 1960s comic strips DH have Archived, you'd probably be greatly exaggerating.

Yet DH would have us believe, people, even casual buyers, will plonk down $50 for a hardcover featuring a practically "no-name" character (with all due respect to the likes of Magicman, Nemesis, Herbie, and Magnus, Robot Fighter), yet are not prepared to spend the same sort of money on Conan hardcovers. Are the people making these sort of decisions at Dark Horse insane, on drugs, or something?

I would want to deny fans these DH Archives if they want them, but at the same time why are DH denying us decent hardcovers of Savage Sword of Conan, for instance?
