I have great memories of the Inhumans stand alone stories, I remember as a kid reading what is probably Kirby best creative period
in the pages of the Fanatstic Four, aka the Inhumans/Galactus saga.
And the Inhumans didn't just go away, thanks to the romance between Crystal and the Human Torch they were virtually present in every FF issue.
As a little kid I couldn't wait for that negative barrier to come down, "take it down already!" but that wasn't all, suddenly Thor had Inhumans
back up stories, I loved them, and from there to the pages of AA.
I am not sure what made the Inhumans so interesting to me at the time, I suspect it was the same principle behind the X-men, people that did not fit in
the rigid structure of 1960s USA society, and they had Super Powers! They did not have to take it, they could kick back.
And when Neal Adams took over from Kirby and connected the Inhumans to the Kree/Skrull story line, well for that little kid it was 100% magic.
I wish I could still get that excited about comics.
