The binding is sewn, as it has been on all Masterworks, regardless of printer, for nearly 100 volumes now.
Coloring is kept internally consistent within a given issue. If a character's costume is a slight shade different, then that's what is preserved. Regarding it as an error rides on a host of presumptions that cannot be verified.
Masterworks are back to China with Deathlok. Where we print isn't my decision, so it's not my place to speak to the matter. Maybe hit up David next time he's around.
