This has been policy since Cory took over. It came about because most people wanted the issues to be as close to the originals as possible, including errors. I felt that writing and spelling errors should be kept, but most coloring errors were the fault of the printers, not the colorest and therefore should be corrected. I think I'm in the minority of 5 here!!!imageimageimage

Really? I had no idea! And how image image image why would any one want to preserve an error? image
Well, it's a slippery slope. I mean, today, they fix a coloring error, tomorrow, they reletter the issue of Hulk where he was called "Bob Banner", from there, we have Fantastic Four Masterworks volume 1 by Chuck Austen and Rob Liefeld.

Do you really want to see that?

Plus, for everyone who hates that old coloring errors aren't corrected, there's probably the same number of people who would complain if the errors were corrected, because then Marvel would be taking liberties with the material and not presenting it the way it was originally released.

Bottom line, there's no winning for Marvel no matter what they do, and these books look like the ones originally released.
