Ever try hitting a 80-100 MPH pitch when you have no idea what's coming? It's the hardest thing to do in professional sports, let alone try to do consistently. Pseudo-athletes my butt!

And if you think that the athletes in your chosen spectator sports are chemically clean, you are very naive.

I think the real naiveté is thinking that hitting a baseball pitch is the hardest thing to do in sport.

I certainly like my chances against a fast-ball better than hitting a moving receiver 40 yards away whilst 11 enormous men try and take my head off or skating through 2 defenders and hitting the 5-hole of a heavily padded acrobat whose committed his life to stopping pucks.

Do baseball players even break a sweat?
