Well, it's not like I hate every other team other than the one I root for. That would be tough. There are always more teams and players I like than I dislike.

More power to you if there are no teams you hate/dislike (and of course I'm using 'hate' in a hyperbolic way). But I think it's pretty hard to be a tried and true fan and not dislike the traditional rival. And that's been the problem this year. I'm a Florida State fan in college football and their biggest rival is the Gators. I'm a Duke fan in basketball and their biggest rival is UNC. I'm a Celtics fan and their hated rival is LA. And I'm a Red Sox fan so it's only natural I'd hate the Yankees. So it's not a matter of just hating every team. That is a waste. But this year has been a specifically bad one for me because quite a few of the rivals have actually won championships. Thus the title of this thread.
