I bought Booster when I started collecting in the mid-90s, and just recently re-read it with Blue Beetle and the then current Superman reboot (plus Legends and Millennium). The first 15 issues of Booster were excellent, Dan Jurgens was really on his game, and had built up a great cast. Then with 16, all of the initial storylines were over and it was time to find something new. Issue 16 could have been a good starting point for that, but the ball got dropped. It and 17 were good stories, 18, which was a sequal to the story in 13-15, was excellent, 19 and 20 were good, but then all direction was lost, and the series dropped. It remained entertaining until the end, but didn't have the same spark that it started with. -Eric
