Once again I'm moved to wonder whether these interviews are transcribed from verbal recordings or whether the Sons are asked to write down their answers. I note that Elder has hyphenated "Iron-Man", and I'm curious what a hyphen sounds like.

that classic Marvel Age "feel" of being part of an ongoing, never-ending storyline

For me, that's "Hulk" in Tales to Astonish.

Man, I hope these kids are getting a monthly diet of Spidey and Hulk and Doc Strange.
