I mean, sure, overall, I definitely prefer Marvel. I dunno why, I just am a Marvel Zombie. But you can't write off anything non-Marvel just for the sake of it. Even in the 60's DC had some pretty good stuff. Most not as good as Marvel, sure, but there's a lot worth checking out. Flash and Justice League in particular, IMO. And then in the 70's Kirby showed up with his Fourth World and Demon and Kamandi and Losers and Sandman and OMAC and all that.......

Jeez. There's a lot of great DC, Dark Horse, Image, and other non-Marvel stuff. You can appreciate other companies and still prefer Marvel. Just...broaden your horizons.

Hey Comix I think you're jumping to conclusions buddy. I do give other publishers a chance. All including IDW, Dark Horse, Tokyopop, Image, etc.(But Im really picky with those publishers)... just not DC. I respect your opinion on the matter and all the titles you mentioned have been viewed as cultural hits in this medium. And I dont once deny that at all. But I've been a pure Marvel Zombie for so many years as long as I can remember. Plus taking into effect that I dont think my pocket can handle getting into DC because of the vast majority of material they have to offer compared to the other publishers listed above. If I picked up a DC book now and actually liked it ... boy oh boy my wife is probably gonna divorce me after only a couple of months. There was a point (well for almost 7 years) I bought every trade Marvel released every month that I didnt already have collected in some way, shape, form or another. But now I have even become picky with that.
