"Do you read me, tin man?" - Hogan

This is obviously the best splash up to this point in the history of Iron Man.

The story itself is a "Tale" of Two Halves. The first six pages amount to one of the most entertaining IM stories yet, solely because of the ironic plot Stan and Don have devised. As evidence I present page 5 in its entirety:

Is that police detective kidding?? "He won't do anything, lady! Not with us here!" Oh, please.

And isn't it tough to grip a pen with iron gloves?

The last seven pages are just a rehash of Widow/Hawkeye, and not all that entertaining, although there is a good illo of Natasha.

This is the first time we have any indication that she's not just using Hawkeye. Or is she only feeling love for Hawkeye now because she's in danger?

Hawkeye was obviously Marvel's answer to Green Arrow, right?

I notice that the Wasp is not in her new costume which she displayed in TtA 62 the previous week.

You knew there would be a Pepper scan.

A few panels later, she says, "There's something about Iron Man...something that makes me want to trust him...something I can't explain!"

It looks to me like both corner box illos have been redrawn.

The IM illo on the cover looks familiar, I'd swear I've seen that somewhere else.
