If they were just a complete reprint as they appeared in B&W I'd say leave them out...but they're not. What they are is a completely re-edited (heavily I might add) , re-drawn version of the story presented in colour for the first time. They stand on their own as a new story instead of being your standard reprint. Leaving them out would not be right.

QUOTE: "I don't know that I would lump GS Super-Heroes in with GS Spider-Man. GS Super-Heroes is not really a team up book. It seems more like an Amazing Spider-Man story, while the GS Spider-Man books each have a team up like Marvel Team-Up. In my opinion, the GS Super-Heroes should be included in Amazing Masterworks while GS Spider-Man goes in Marvel Team-Up Masterworks.

I haven't read that story in years. We know that the other Giant-Size Spider-man series is now mapped into a Marvel Team-Up series but is there any good reason to put Giant-Size Super-Heroes #1 in with Spider-Man or Marvel Team-Up?
